The Road Between

This week I traveled to Spokane WA and visited my stores in Colville WA and Moscow ID. I just loved my drive to Moscow. It is such a beautiful area. There is not much between Spokane and Moscow. It is mainly an agriculture area but this time of year it is so green. You can drive along and listen to the cows graze. Farm homes, red barns and patches of trees dotted the landscape. I am very fortunate to have such a beautiful territory for work. Thanks Linda!
Oh - I don't know why the pictues are arranging funny. but will upload as is.

The Cascades and Mounts

These pictures are from the week of April 21st. I was in Yakima and Cle Elum Washington. The first 3 pictures are from a rest area just outside of Cle Elum which has a great view of the Cascade Mountain Range. I will be changing the post date on this next week sometime to reflect when it actually happened.

These pictures were taken at a rest area just outside of Yakima. I am not sure which one is Mount Adams and which one is Mount Rainier. I should have posted this 2 months ago :)

White Knuckle Driving Day

Today I thought would be an easy day. I was in Cle Elum Washington and thought I would have tons of time. Well a perspective merchant contacted me and wanted to meet this afternoon. So much for heading to Seattle around noon :) I had a good meeting with the perspective merchant but unfortunately did not leave Cle Elum until after 5:30pm. So now I have a drive ahead of me. It is not just a semi-long drive. I have to go over Snoqualmie Pass. And it was snowing - hard. It was such a miserable drive. I finally got over the pass. The snow lasted for quite some time before turning to slushy rain. I was so thankful to make it to the hotel without incident.

Looking at the road conditions now - for over the pass - they have closed the pass eastbound and westbound is requiring chains. So glad I got though it when I did.

The picture taken above was from the traffic web site. I wanted to take my own pictures for all to see - but I wasn't taking my hands off the steering wheel. Hopefully spring will be here soon.

I will finish updating my blog from past trips. I will predate them to when they actually happened.

The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is one of my most favorite things at the Animal Kingdom. The tree trunk and brances are carved out into various animals. Below is just a sampling of some of the carved animals. It is amazing.

It's A Bugs Life

Tucked away in the Tree of Life is the Bugs Life Theater featuring It's Tough to Be A Bug. I really like the movie posters that you can view along the corridor of the theater. There are more but the show was about to begin :)

Finding Nemo - The Musical

Finding Nemo - the Musical is a fairly new addition to the Animal Kingdom. A nice place to excape the heat and crowds and enjoy a Disney Production. A must see at the Animal Kingdom.

On Safari...

Nothing like being out in the wilderness and seeing all the different wildlife and plants, and having a driver that won't slow down long enough so I could get pictures. Here is a glimpse at what we saw.
