Today I thought would be an easy day. I was in Cle Elum Washington and thought I would have tons of time. Well a perspective merchant contacted me and wanted to meet this afternoon. So much for heading to Seattle around noon :) I had a good meeting with the perspective merchant but unfortunately did not leave Cle Elum until after 5:30pm. So now I have a drive ahead of me. It is not just a semi-long drive. I have to go over Snoqualmie Pass. And it was snowing - hard. It was such a miserable drive. I finally got over the pass. The snow lasted for quite some time before turning to slushy rain. I was so thankful to make it to the hotel without incident.
Looking at the road conditions now - for over the pass - they have closed the pass eastbound and westbound is requiring chains. So glad I got though it when I did.
The picture taken above was from the traffic web site. I wanted to take my own pictures for all to see - but I wasn't taking my hands off the steering wheel. Hopefully spring will be here soon.
I will finish updating my blog from past trips. I will predate them to when they actually happened.
